1. The following persons shall be entitle to Register as Professional
Engineers:
(a). Any person holding doctor, Master, Bachelor of Diploma of Engineering from
Public or Private Institutes recognized by the Board of Director of the Executive
Committee of the Engineering Institution of Cambodia:
(b). Professional Experiences:
• For Doctor Degree at least three years.
• For Master Degree at least 5 years.
• For Bachelor Degree at lest 7 years.
• For Diploma University at least 10 years.
2. Foreign Engineers, employing in the Kingdom of Cambodia shall
be available to register as Associate Members and shall have right to apply
as Professional Engineers.
3. All applicants who met the requirement of (1) shall have the right to pass
an examination.
4. The awarded applicants shall be given Registered Certification of Professional
Engineers, after the complete payment of registered fee.
THE ENGINEERING INSTITUTION OF CAMBODIA ENGINEERING PROFESSIONAL ETHICS
All members of the Engineering Institution of Cambodia are enjoined
to conform to the letter and the spirit of the ENGINEERING PROFESSIONAL ETHICS
set out here under.
First Ethic:
An Engineer shall honestly enhance and defend public interest. He shall be well
qualified, good moral conduct and shall have good spirit of cooperation with
the fellow of the same profession.
Second
Ethic:
An Engineer shall strongly consider and shall be responsible to the public safety
and the comfort of the environment.
Third
Ethic:
An Engineer shall have to provide data and professional view honestly to public.
Fourth
Ethic:
An Engineer shall order his conduct so as to uphold the dignity standing the
trustingness and reputation of his profession.
Fifth
Ethic:
An Engineer shall have to accept only work, which is not exceed his qualification
Six
Ethic:
An Engineer shall develop gradually his reputation by the result of this own
works and shall not unfairly compete for something.
Seventh
Ethic:
An Engineer shall be responsible for all the consequences of this works.
Eight
Ethic:
An Engineer shall have to use his knowledge and professional qualification with
complete fidelity to serve the interest of public, his employers or his clients.
Ninth
Ethic:
An Engineer shall unceasingly improve his professional qualification. In his
Career, he shall share the knowledge to the fellow engineers, transfer his knowledge
to the next generation and strongly support professional trainings.
Registration of Professional Engineers
1. A Secretariat of BPE
shall receive the applicant for Professional Engineers. This application shall
be sent to BPE for monitoring and decision.
2. BPE shall make written information to the application.
How to register?
1. Obtain application forms
from BPE at Secretariat of EIC
2. Complete application forms, enclose payment and two (2) non returnable passport
sized photographs (with name written at the back of each photo)
3. Send completed application to the Secretariat of EIC
4. National Monitoring Committee (NMC) will go through applications and reject
those which do not comply by returning the annual subscription
5. Upon endorsement, the applicants will be informed of his/her confirmed PE
status.

Entrance Fee USD 20.000 or 80 000 Riel (Local Currency)
Annual Subscription USD 20.000 or 80 000 Riel (Local Currency)
Successful Application
Successful applicants will be invited to an award ceremony to receive award certificates and medallion in a ceremony
